Data Controller: PushUpFly is operated by Thao Ngo, located in Vietnam ("we", "us", or "our").
PushUpFly ("PushUpFly") is a camera-controlled game for iPhone in which push-up movement flies a bird through pipes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the PushUpFly mobile application and related features (collectively, the "Service").
By using PushUpFly, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
PushUpFly is designed for privacy. We do not create user accounts or show ads. Body pose detection and gameplay video processing run locally on your iPhone. We do not upload your camera feed, body pose data, or game replays to our servers. We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for product analytics and crash reporting (see Section 2.5). For optional in-app purchases and subscriptions, we use RevenueCat to manage entitlement status (see Sections 2.4 and 6).
With your permission, PushUpFly uses the front camera to track your push-ups and control the bird in real time. Camera frames are processed on device for pose estimation. We do not stream or upload this video to MaxLabs or any third-party AI service.
If you choose to save a game replay, PushUpFly may request permission to add the video to your Photo Library. We only write media you explicitly save. We do not read your existing photo library for gameplay.
PushUpFly may store on device preferences such as difficulty, best score, and temporary replay or snapshot files used for preview, share, or save. Camera and replay data do not leave your device unless you share them yourself through the system share sheet. Purchase and subscription status may be verified with Apple and RevenueCat as described below.
Payments are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases and to receive related data such as transaction status, product identifiers, purchase dates, renewal or cancellation status, and a device or app-user identifier needed to restore entitlements. RevenueCat may receive a device identifier as part of its SDK. We do not receive your full payment card details.
We automatically collect diagnostic and usage information through Google Firebase:
Firebase and RevenueCat may receive a device or app-instance identifier as part of their SDKs. This data is used to operate, secure, and improve the Service—not to show ads or to sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs. Camera frames, body pose data, and replays are not sent to Firebase.
We do not require an email or password. We do not operate a user account backend for PushUpFly. We do not upload your camera feed or replays for analysis. We do not sell your personal information.
We use camera access and on-device data to provide gameplay (pose tracking and bird control), score and preference storage, optional replay preview, and optional share or save to Photos when you choose those actions. We use purchase and subscription information with Apple and RevenueCat to process payments, unlock paid features, restore purchases, and manage entitlements. We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the app is used, measure stability, diagnose crashes, and improve the Service.
After a run, PushUpFly may keep a temporary replay or snapshot on your device so you can preview, share, or save it. Sharing uses Apple’s system share sheet and is initiated by you. Saved videos are stored in Photos and managed by Apple. We never upload replays to our servers.
App data is stored on your device. Temporary replay files may be cleared when you leave the result screen or close the app. Uninstalling PushUpFly removes the app’s local data. Media you saved to Photos remains in Photos until you delete it there. Purchase and subscription records processed by Apple and RevenueCat are retained by those providers as needed to operate billing and entitlements. Analytics events and crash reports processed by Google Firebase are retained by Google for as long as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service (subject to Google’s retention practices for Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics). Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
We do not sell personal information. We do not send your camera feed or replays to third-party AI providers. We share information with Google (Firebase) for analytics and crash reporting, with RevenueCat for subscription and purchase management, with Apple when you use App Store billing and system services (Camera, Photos, Share Sheet), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google (Firebase) | Product analytics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)—app instance and device information, usage events, and crash diagnostics. Not used for advertising. |
| RevenueCat | Subscription and in-app purchase management (transaction status, product identifiers, entitlement restoration) |
| Apple | App Store billing, and system services such as Camera, Photos (add-only save), and the system share sheet |
| Share destinations you choose | Only when you explicitly share a replay or snapshot through iOS |
To remove PushUpFly’s on-device data, delete the app from your iPhone. Delete any saved replays in the Photos app. Revoke Camera or Photos access under Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera / Photos → PushUpFly. Cancel subscriptions under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Purchase history held by Apple or RevenueCat is managed under their respective policies. Historical analytics and crash records held by Google may remain after you delete the app; email us if you want help with a related deletion request.
You can deny or revoke Camera permission (gameplay will not work without it), deny Photos add permission and still play without saving, decline to share replays, manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple, and contact us with privacy questions.
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under applicable data protection law (including the GDPR), including the right to:
Because PushUpFly processes camera and game data on your device and does not operate a user account backend, most erasure of on-device data is completed by deleting the app and managing Photos content yourself. Historical analytics and crash records on Google may remain; email us if you want additional server-side deletion. To exercise other rights or ask a question, email ivyvyit@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
PushUpFly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Thao Ngo is based in Vietnam. PushUpFly’s core camera and gameplay features run on your device. Analytics and crash data may be processed by Google in countries where Firebase operates. If you contact us by email, that correspondence may be processed in Vietnam.
We use reasonable measures appropriate for an on-device app, but no system is completely secure. You are responsible for device passcode and backup settings, and for whom you share replays with.
PushUpFly is a game, not a medical or fitness coaching service. Camera pose tracking is for gameplay only and is not a health measurement. Exercise at your own risk and stop if you feel pain.
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
